It was nice this weekend to get a break from band. I'm sorry Mr. McAdow got sick but Symphonic people needed a break. Saturday I spent the day with Brittany Witt and Meador had a nice lunch at Texas Roadhouse and then on to the usual Starbucks. Then later we picked up Travis and had dinner at Las Palmas. The waitress there was an idiot. Sunday my family and I went to Kemah. We went shopping had lunch at Landry's and then watched the sailboats and jet skis and yachts float along the Gulf of Mexico. It was a fun day. Now there's only one more full week left of summer but of course we will all be at band all day, and then I'll spend the rest of the day in the library. Of course while Amanda Dennler and I do all of the work, Elizabeth will be whining about the work, take credit for all that we (Amanda D. and I have done), and then talk the rest of the afternoon to different people. Amanda Packman will be making signs for the beloved flutes, talk about the flute sleepover they are having at her house on Thursday, and then try to take charge and control over everything Dennler and I are doing and then tell us everything that we are doing wrong. Sorry that I always whine about librarian crap. I can do the job because all it is copying papers. An idiot could do that. I just hate all the people I'm working with EXCEPT DENNLER. I can't believe Jenny leaves in a week and my sister leaves in 19 days. I'm really going to miss them both. Yeah rise and shine early tomorrow for another fun day of band, and Ramey acting like a fake idiot and jackass. Oh yeah band officer elections are this week please for the love of god vote for me for Vice President.

So I have spent the past few days doing nothing but coping music all day. Everything from stands tunes to Midwest music. But today as Amanda Dennler and I were coping music all of a sudden the copy machine froze and apparently a massive paper jam caused it to break. Mr. McAdow looked at it but could not fix it so a maintence person has to come on Monday to try and repair it. Later today Amanda, Jenny and myself are going to see Wedding Crashers. I've heard nothing but good reviews about it so I think it will be hilarious and really good. Plus, I love Vince Vaughn so it's a win-win situation. Our summer is rapidly coming to an end, and like usual I'm not ready to go back. Is it just me or are these back to school commercials too early and really obnoxious?

Yeah so I might have had this journal for a few months now and have yet to make an entry but now that I have something interesting to write about I finally took the time to make an entry. My summer has been fun but has flown by. I've spent most the time at the movie theater. I've seen Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Longest Yard, War of the Worlds, Bewitched, Batman Begins, and Star Wars. My favorite movie has been Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Brad Pitt is gorgeous!!!!! I went to Galveston for a few days in June but a few days ago I went to Los Angeles, California. I went only for a day with my dad to look at the University of Southern California. The campus is really pretty. I know that I am going to apply and then just see what happens. The only downside of USC is the distance from home and the cost. It cost $45,000 to attend USC. That's ridiculous but I hope it would be worth it to attend. Los Angeles is a really pretty city but there are so many dam cars. My dad and I spent most of our time in traffic. We were supposed to spend Thursday night traveling around and sight seeing but because it rained at Bush Intercontinental Airport our flight was delayed for FOUR HOURS. We finally got to our hotel around 2:30 pacific time. After our campus tour my dad and I drove through Hollywood and then Beverly Hills. It was really nice. The two best parts of the trip were the California weather (breezy and NO HUMIDITY) and the GORGEOUS man on the flight home who was across the aisle from me. Oh my god he had not only a nice ass, good fashion taste, and a body built like a greek god but most importantly he had WONDERFUL HAIR!!!!! I can't believe we go back to band in 15 days and start marching a few days after that. The only good thing about going back is that it means that I am one more day closer to graduate. I'm excited about senior year. I know it's going to be challenging with marching, mid-west, 5 other classes, and having to do college applications but what can you do.
